One of my favorite words currently is "Attitude," but it's not just the word; it's the action of having attitude! How difficult it is to adopt it, how difficult to maintain it! Where do I buy it? Who tells me where to find it? Where do I catch it? And if I succeed, how do I keep it from escaping?
A positive attitude is a daily constant to prevent negative thoughts or defeats from setting the pace of our lives.
Positive Attitude: The Axis of Your Professional Image
Why do I constantly address this topic? For me, a positive attitude is a basic element in the image you project. If you are not positive, everything else takes a backseat: your physical image, the colors that enhance your personal tones, your professional performance, and who you truly are.
A positive attitude can be perceived from several points of view:
Attitude in Everyday Life: From Frustration to Solution
One day, my home internet service broke down, my email service on my mobile stopped working, and the page where I download photos for my blogs also broke. I have several options: think that I'm cursed and need a technological reset, get angry at the providers and complain all day about my bad luck, or try to solve it.
Immediately, I think that if I keep thinking negatively, I'm sure to make something else stop working. It sounds like a hex, but you can attract what happens to you with your energy. If getting angry and frustrated doesn't bring a solution to my problem, what do I achieve by getting angry?

I went to one of the cell phone offices until they resolved the problem. I sent an email to the photo page asking for help, and they explained that it would be restored the next day. The internet service had no solution, but at least I learned that it was no longer an option to choose.
Attitude at Work: Cultivating an Impeccable Image
I no longer like my job, and because of that, I don't care how I treat clients or other people. I look for other options to leave, but my way of responding to others is negative. Your attitude speaks of who you are and what you are capable of doing. We all go through moments when we don't love what we do or at least think we don't. But reacting this way only affects my professional image. What if my new job isn't what I expected? Can I go back to my old job? In the end, I only showed them that I didn't want to work and didn't care how I treated clients. It is vitally important to always leave a door open and an impeccable professional image.
Attitude as a Leader: Inspiring by Example
I'm the boss, and I can do what I want, and I don't care what others think. Work teams fall apart faster than one imagines, and it's harder to reach goals when that happens. A leader's best teaching is by example, and transmitting a positive attitude will be how their team learns to work. If you are motivated, it is easier to infect others.
Daily, I remind myself that when unexpected things happen, it's up to me to decide whether to let it affect my attitude, because that impacts the rest of the day. I am the one who decides whether to have a positive reaction to achieve an excellent professional image. We must always remember to seek the best attitude!
