The Crisis of Confidence in Adulthood

When I turned 50, a couple of years earlier, I began to question my path, my achievements, and how I wanted to live my second stage of adulthood. In that process of introspection, I discovered that, on many occasions, I had stopped believing in myself and my abilities.

Despite continuing to achieve success, something wasn't flowing as I wanted it to. With the help of a coach, I understood that I had relegated my past achievements and allowed doubt to take over me.

The Impact of Limiting Beliefs

I observed a similar pattern in my clients and people close to me. A talented director doubted his presentations, a young professional felt ignored in meetings... What leads us to question ourselves, to feel judged, and to doubt our potential?

Overcoming Mental Barriers

I'm not a psychologist or a social researcher, but my experience tells me that the root of the problem often lies in the fact that we stop observing ourselves and trusting ourselves. We give power to limiting beliefs and prioritize the opinions of others.

Remember: "If I don't believe in myself, why would others?"

The Path to Personal Reinvention

When you give yourself your rightful place, recognizing your achievements and valuing your effort, you open yourself to a path of growth and continuous learning. Reinvention is possible when you accept that change is part of life. It's about taking what you've learned, recognizing what no longer works, and consciously choosing where you want to evolve.

The Power of Community and Self-Knowledge

Recently, I conducted a dynamic exercise in my reinvention forum with a group of women. By sharing their experiences, achievements, values, and talents, they were filled with energy and motivation. Recognizing their own worth allowed them to generate creative ideas to reinvent themselves and overcome challenges.

Personal reinvention begins with self-knowledge and acceptance. We don't own the absolute truth, but by focusing on our strengths and values, we can find innovative ways to achieve our goals.
